स ईक्षतेमे नु लोकाश्च लोकपालाश्चान्नमेभ्यः सृजा ईति ।।
sa iksateme nu lokas cha loka-palas channam ebhyah sruja iti
Translation:
He bethought Himself: "Here now are the worlds and the world-guardians. Let Me cerate food for them."
Comments :
After creation of these gods, the Supreme Self thought It should create food for them because hunger and thirst are co-existent with them. The Lord, Supreme Creator of all, then though, Now I have created the universe and the demigods (guardian deities), let Me now create food for them.
